Dive Training

From your first breath underwater to the thrill of going Pro, your dive training should always be an experience worth repeating. Working in conjunction with our Scubaventures location, our experienced instructors are prepared to teach every comfort, experience and age level to truly make your Blue Water training unforgettable.

Discover Scuba $75
 


This course is designed to give prospective students an introduction to diving.

Unlike some Discover classes, you will be joining the first and second sessions of our regular Open Water classes. Here you’ll gain an introduction to scuba through classroom and in-water skills.

Should you decide to continue with Open Water Training, your $75 will be applied toward the certification course. Please call to make a reservation.

 

Open Water Certification $550
 


This certification course is designed to give students the necessary skills to conduct open water dives in conditions similar to their training without the direct supervision of an instructor.

Once certified, diver will be allowed to dive to a maximum 60 foot depth. Must be at least 10 to sign up; parental consent is required for those under 18. Group training requires four classroom and pool sessions and two open water dive days. Classes offered once a month.

  • Private Group (3+ people): $650 per person

Enriched Air Certification $150
 


What is Enriched Air/Nitrox?


Enriched air, or nitrox, is a great tool to help you enjoy longer dives. Enriched air makes this possible because it contains less nitrogen and a higher percentage of oxygen than normal air. This means that you absorb less nitrogen as you dive, giving you more bottom time!

Rescue Diver Certification $450
 


Take the next step and build upon your confidence and experience by taking the PADI Rescue Diver certification!In the PADI Rescue Diver course, you’ll build on your existing emergency prevention and management skills. Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, and at the end, say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken.You’ll develop accident prevention and management skills that include self-rescue, assisting a buddy and working within a team during an emergency response. Your training will focus on scenarios in which you adapt rescue techniques to your personal strengths and adjust to the situation

Master Diver Certification $500

 


Join the best of the best in recreational scuba diving and live the dive life as a PADI Master Scuba Diver. The Master Scuba Diver rating places you in an elite group of respected divers who have earned this rating through both significant experience and scuba training. Fewer than two percent of divers ever achieve this rating. When you flash your Master Scuba Diver card, people know that you’ve spent time underwater in a variety of environments and had your share of dive adventures.The path starts with earning a PADI Open Water Diver certification, followed by PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver (or qualifying certifications). You also need to earn five PADI Specialty Diver certifications  and have logged a minimum of 50 dives.

Dive Master Certification $600

The PADI Divemaster course teaches you to be a leader and take charge of dive activities. Through knowledge development sessions, water skills exercises and workshops, and hands-on practical assessment, you develop the skills to organize and direct a variety of scuba diving activities. Topics and practical workshops include:


 

Supervising dive activities and assisting with student divers

  • Diver safety and risk management
  • Divemaster conducted programs and specialized skills
  • Business of diving and your career
  • Awareness of the dive environment
  • Dive setup and management
  • Mapping an open water site
  • Conducting dive briefings
  • Organizing a search and recovery project and a deep dive
  • Conducting a scuba review and skin diver course
  • Assisting with Discover Scuba Diving and leading Discover Local Diving programs
